The South of Morocco offers the possibility of discovering the extraordinary places: wild beaches in the desert, ancient French Foreign Legion forts in a middle of nowhere, Berber villages where the time stopped long ago, old Berber fortified granaries in mountains, huge sand dunes and oasis and many more. The only way to discover this part of Morocco is 4x4 off-road and sometimes camel or donkey riding. Slipping in the nomad tents or in the local guest houses, tasting the real typical dishes, visiting undiscovered places you can feel a real adventure.

All depends of what you want to see and how long you want to stay. We organize the few days adventure excursions, adventure round trips with time to rest in exceptional and picturesque sites.

Inside the South: ocean, desert, mountains. 3 days

Starting from Agadir or Marrakech. The outstanding journey with 4x4 vehicles, the great discovery and off-road.

Day 1:

The first is the ocean day, the possibility to see the great contrast ocean, desert and mountains. The off-road of the Paris-Dakar rally offers the spectacular views and wild beaches . Visit to Tiznit, famed for its silver jewelry Travelling further south the next settlement of interest is the sleepy small resort of Mirleft which enjoys in a spectacular coastal location. Then outstanding red sandstone arches at La Gzira beach where the lunch will be served. Visit to Sidi Ifni, a Spanish outpost, renowned for its Art Deco architecture. The scenery gradually gives way into a true stone desert which comes to the ocean with large impressive precipices. You can find old ships thrown out by the see. The stunning scenery includes rocky and sandy bays and headlands renowned for surfing to long sandy beaches, fine cliffs and coastal arches. Then in the interior of the land in a moonlike landscape visit to the ancient Fortress of the French Foreign Legion. It’s in the middle of nowhere .For dinner local specialty: camel tajine. Night under traditional nomad tents in a place where you can fear the silence.

Day two:

After breakfast departure to Goulmime, city known as “the desert door”, where you’ll see the local camels souk. Departure to Amtoudi, small village in the desert and next to the mountains, where the older Agadir – fortified granary is located. In the ancient granary you’ll see how the Berber tribes once stocked their alimentary provisions, arms and documents like marriage contract written on the piece of wood. The Impressive views while passing the off-road through the Anti-Atlas mountains. Night and dinner in Tafraout, the heart of Anti-Atlas mountains surrounded by rose-granite mountains made from huge rocks with traditional houses built in.

Day three

Visit to the painted rocks and village of Aguard Oudad. Passing through the mountains with almonds trees fields to Idaougnedif and visit to the ancient ksar – fortified village. The way through the argan forests where you can see the goats on the trees. Arrival to Agadir

It’s possible also to prolong the excursion a few days to visit Taroudant, the High Atlas Mountains and finish in Marrakech or Agadir.
